Dashboard and Living Structure (Admin Navigation Guide)

Two surfaces orient every family member: the Dashboard (their personal Home page) and Living Structure (the family's shared rhythm). Both are mostly read for the family; the family does not author them. A few Living Structure pieces are authored by Perpetum admins, covered in section 4. This guide helps an admin navigate and explain both, and author the pieces they own.

Key point: the Dashboard is not authored directly. Each module is assembled from the other domains (Bricks, Care Protocol, Seats, Soul Print, Agreements, Calendar). To change what a person sees on their Dashboard, change the source (see the matching manual). The Dashboard just reads each person's own slice.

1. The Dashboard: the 14 modules

The Home page (/home) shows these modules, top to bottom. Modules a role cannot see are hidden entirely (no "no access" notice).

# Module What it shows
1 Welcome greeting A short hero greeting
2 Links row Two callout cards (e.g., Archive, House)
3 View My Pathway Button opening the person's full Pathway PDF
4 Personal Calendar The person's week at a glance (with an "Open monthly view" link)
5 Individual Care Protocol A capacity bar (Green / Amber / Red). On Amber/Red the Care Pathway appears and can replace the Bricks module
6 My Bricks The person's quarterly commitments with their status
7 Accountability Strikes Any active strikes
8 My Seat Chart The person's own seats (compact table)
9 My Rooms mini-cards One mini Room Card per room they are a member of, with their individual pills + Next Meeting
10 Who I Am This Year The Soul Print summary
11 Agreements Reciprocal commitments (what the system gives / what is asked)
12 Next Review The person's next quarterly and annual review dates
13 Who's Supporting Me The people supporting this person
14 Where to Go Next Four navigation cards

Per-role visibility (summary)

  • LG / RG / IEE: the full Dashboard (all operational and personal modules).
  • Next Generation / In-Laws: structural pieces only (greeting, links, Personal Calendar, Seat Chart, My Rooms mini-cards without pills, plus the Archive card). No Care reading, Bricks, Strikes, Agreements, Next Review, Who's Supporting Me, or Who I Am This Year.
  • Internal Advisor / Internal Employee: the structural set; Bricks, Strikes, and individual pills appear only when a Perpetum admin toggles them on. They hold no Individual Care Protocol of their own.
  • Perpetum L1: the Dashboard within assigned scope (read support).

2. Where each module's content comes from

Module Authored in Manual
My Bricks, Strikes Bricks admin Bricks & Trust
Individual Care Protocol, Care Pathway Care Protocol Care Protocol
My Seat Chart, My Rooms Seats + Rooms Seats; Room Card
Who I Am This Year Soul Print (Soul Print domain)
Next Review /admin/next-review Move-In
Agreements, Who's Supporting Me Room/agreement + seat data Room Card; Seats

3. Living Structure: what the family reads

The Living Structure page (/living-structure) shows the family rhythm:

  • Family Horizon (the forward-looking horizon set by Perpetum).
  • Stewards section (+ an Additional Stewards dropdown).
  • Family Calendar (the shared family events).
  • Attention Needed module (admin-posted messages).
  • Meeting Rhythm subtab.
  • View Relational Pathway button.

4. The Living Structure pieces an admin authors

Unlike the Dashboard, several Living Structure pieces are authored from the admin console:

Piece Surface Who
Family Horizon /admin/family-horizon Admin tier (L1 / L2 / L3)
Attention Needed messages /admin/attention Admin tier
Family Calendar entries /admin/calendar L3
Meeting Rhythm /admin/meeting-rhythm L3

Open the matching Admin sections tab, author the content, and save. It surfaces on the family's Living Structure page (and, for calendar entries, on each person's Personal Calendar where it applies to them).

5. Quick troubleshooting

Symptom Likely cause Fix
A person is missing a Dashboard module Hidden by role (by design), or the source has no data Check per-role visibility (section 1); check the source domain
Changing a Dashboard module directly The Dashboard is not authored directly Edit the source domain (section 2); the Dashboard re-reads it
NG/IL see mini-cards with no pills By design Structural roles see mini-cards without pills
IA/IE cannot see Bricks Module not toggled on for them A Perpetum admin toggles the Bricks module per advisor/employee
Family Calendar entry not appearing Authored on the wrong surface or not L3 Family Calendar is authored at /admin/calendar (L3)
Care Pathway showing instead of Bricks The person is on Amber/Red Expected: the Care Pathway can replace the Bricks module at Amber/Red
